As there are no straps or harnesses attached to the Fig Rig, quick and wide movements can be made within the same shot - from ground-level to overhead, in one smooth movement. The camera, accessories and operator become one, allowing you to film scenes quickly and unobtrusively. With the Fig Rig your creativity is virtually limitless.

The Sini-Vision Quick-Base Universal QBU-02 is a brilliant solution that takes the Manfrotto Fig Rig to new levels of shooting. The tripod-mountable QBU-02 is the ideal docking station for the Fig Rig, allowing the camera operator to load the Fig Rig with a camera and accessories as well as pan and tilt capabilities while mounted on the fluid head.

For the first time, the Fig Rig can be removed from the tripod while still shooting, thanks to the QBU-02's universal mount. Located on the bottom center of the Quick-Base, the Universal mount will couple to a Manfrotto 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 mounts. The QBU-02 allows for great flexibility in shooting and can also be used on a flat surface, baby stand, C-stand or any light stand.

The kit starts out with a ball-leveling head that comes with a 3/8" and 1/4" camera mounting plate, capable of supporting over 50 pounds.

With our mounting system, your custom camera mount installations are limited only by your imagination. Each 6" cup, when mounted on a horizontal surface, can hold seventy vertical pounds. When combining them in triangular arrangements, the load factor is staggering 210 pounds. For safety's sake when mounting the suction cups on a vertical surface we under rate a standard 3-cup mount load to 50 pounds total. The camera mount kit is designed for prosumer lightweight video cameras and camcorders and for professional videographers and 16mm cinematographers as well. An average mount takes less than ten minutes to set up, saving valuable production time.

The GRIPPER has many features of a tripod, but is designed for people on the go! Because they attach and release in seconds, they can be moved quickly from one place to another on autos, RV's, boats, windows, counter-tops... virtually any smooth, non-porous surface! The rubber pad won’t mar or damage most surfaces. Knobs on the head provide infinite positioning and control for tilting and panning cameras, scopes and camcorders. A spring-balanced pump ensures a consistent vacuum level and a red-line indicator warns if there is any drop in holding power. Just a few strokes on the plunger will remove the air from between the Gripper 490's vacuum pad and the mounting surface. As long as the mount maintains a reliable hold, the plunger remains partially hidden inside the pump and the red line is not visible. If the red line appears, another stroke or two will restore full holding power. A firm push or pull on the rubber tab at the edge of the pad releases the mount.

The Filmtools Gripper 490 ball-head features a strong die-cast aluminum housing plus an exceptionally hard, tough, phenolic resin ball that moves smoothly into position. Separate locks on 360 pan and +90-90 tilt movements, with an additional friction control on the ball movement, gives just the right resistance and smoothness with minimum effort. Comes with 3/8" female base. Holds cameras weighing up to 26 pounds.
